The Office of Policy and Planning assists in protecting the health of all Americans through integrated policy approaches and courses of action to strengthen the nation’s public health and healthcare preparedness. It leads strategic planning and evaluation, preparedness and response policy development and analysis, and coordination and collaboration with domestic and international partners to reduce adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters.
