Risk Communication in Rural Settings
This webpage contains a toolkit for healthcare organizations and local public health to use to improve communication with the public, patients, and stakeholders. It includes resources for communicating during a natural disaster, biological emergency, chemical or radiological incident, and information on non-traditional methods of communication. Downloadable Word documents provide information in English and Spanish about actions to take during a variety of scenarios. Much of the material is applicable to both rural and urban settings.
