Topic Collection: COVID-19 Licensure

These resources provide information on license reciprocity for health professionals during a disaster or public health emergency.

Please refer to CDC’s Coronavirus Disease 2019 webpage for the most up-to-date clinical guidance on COVID19 outbreak management.

This webpage provides information on the Uniform Emergency Volunteer Health Practitioner Act (UEVHPA). This is a uniform model law developed to support the rapid deployment of volunteer health professionals during disasters and provide license reciprocity to responders. In addition to the 19 states listed on this website, New York passed this act in 2020.
