This tip sheet provides a general overview of what can lead to increased stress and stress relieving strategies healthcare workers can use while preparing for (e.g., training, planning exercises); responding to (e.g., check-ins with loved ones, taking breaks for healthy refreshment and stress-relieving activities); and after responding to/during an outbreak (e.g., seeking support from others who have gone through the same thing, scheduling time off for self-care).
