Post-COVID-19 Readiness Checklist for Resuming Surgery

This checklist identifies core facility and surgery-specific items that surgeons should assess the presence of in their facilities. The checklist of policies, structures and processes, and outcomes reporting should be modified based on what is appropriate for an individual facility, local resources, prevalence of COVID-19 in the community, and other factors. Surgeons should also consider communicating some of the checklist items to their patients to provide assurance that care can be provided safely.
