Presidential Policy Directive/PPD-21: Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience.
Presidential Policy Directive (PPD-21) established national policy in support of advancing critical infrastructure resilience and security. It helped more clearly define federal infrastructure-related roles and functions; enhance collaboration among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) entities with public and private sector critical infrastructure owners and operators; and reduce vulnerabilities and consequences in the face of disasters.
