Hospital Readiness and Response: An Online Guidebook (Pilot)

ASPR TRACIE developed Hospital Readiness and Response: An Online Guidebook (HRROG) for emergency managers, medical directors, and others in leadership positions within the hospital emergency management structure. In particular, the guidebook is for those who are new to their positions or have been recruited to serve on a multidisciplinary team charged with developing and maintaining an emergency management program. HRROG focuses on operational aspects of preparedness, response, and recovery from a hospital lens across a variety of domains. Links to tools, templates, and other resources for additional information are included in each HRROG chapter.

ASPR TRACIE launched the first five pilot chapters (listed alphabetically) in March 2025 and will continue to collect and incorporate feedback on the HRROG and publish additional chapters as they are developed. Feedback is welcome at askasprtracie@hhs.gov.
