This 4-hour course provides guidance for emergency managers and implementers of children’s programs to meet the unique needs that arise among children as a result of a disaster or emergency. At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to create, update, or revise an emergency operations plan for their community or organization to effectively address the unique needs of children in disasters.
