The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) conducts research and makes recommendations to prevent worker injury and illness. NIOSH runs operations in every state to improve the health and safety of workers through 28 training project grants to meet demands for the incoming generation of researchers and practicioners.
