Independent Application of the Sacco Disaster Triage Method to Pediatric Trauma Patients

The authors applied the Sacco Triage Method to 90,037 records of children = 18 years of age with complete initial scene data from the National Trauma Database for the period 2007-2009. They concluded that this method is a highly accurate predictor of mortality in pediatric trauma patients in this registry database.
