Disaster Olympics A Model for Resident Education

A hospital conducted a full-scale exercise designed as “Olympic Games,” in which 82 Emergency Medicine residents participated. Participants’ post-test scores showed significant improvement over their pre-test scores (63% vs. 52%), indicating that this model was effective in providing disaster education to physicians.
