Farra, S., Miller, E., Timm, N., and Schafer, J. (2013). Improved Training for Disasters Using 3-D Virtual Reality Simulation. Western Journal of Nursing Research. 35(5):655-71.
The authors randomized nursing students into 1 of 2 groups: one group received online disaster training only, and the other participated in online training, as well as a virtual reality simulation.
