Montgomery County’s Public Health Service Uses Operations Research to Plan Emergency Mass Dispensing and Vaccination Clinics

The authors conducted experiments to test simulation models to help the Montgomery County (Maryland) Public Health Services improve clinic planning. Using data collected during full-scale simulations of disease outbreaks, they validated the model and were able to develop strategies for the physical design of clinics.
