The plan was developed by the Maine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Public Health Emergency Preparedness staff, in a collaborative with other Maine CDC subject matter experts. It addresses the systems and processes for public health, healthcare, and other emergency responders with the capability to detect and respond to a suspected/confirmed case of Ebola Virus Disease. In addition, these systems and processes are transferable to any Viral Hemorrhagic Fever (VHF) disease.
