Understanding Liability Risks and Protections for Pediatric Providers During Disasters

This Policy Statement was created “to educate and raise awareness for providers and policy makers about the current state of liability risk and protection for health care providers who are caring for children during disasters.” Recommendations are included for pediatricians, the US Department of Health and Human Services, healthcare entities, and medical liability insurers.
