In addition to experiencing a devastating hurricane season with repeat “hits” from Hurricanes Irma and Maria, healthcare facilities in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico participated in an unprecedented evacuation of dialysis patients (primarily to Atlanta, GA).
