Pediatric Online Disaster Preparedness Training for Medical and Non-Medical Personnel A Multi-level Modeling Analysis

Pham, P., Behar, S., Berg, B., et al. (2018). Pediatric Online Disaster Preparedness Training for Medical and Non-Medical Personnel: A Multi-level Modeling Analysis. (Abstract only; free registration required.)
The authors analyzed data from 5,773 participants in an online disaster preparedness curriculum that included 5 modules: planning, triage, age-specific care, disaster management, and hospital emergency code response. They found that medical staff and non-medical staff both benefitted from the online training, either through reinforcement of their existing knowledge base, or through knowledge gain resulting from their participation in the training.
