Pan-Filovirus Serum Neutralizing Antibodies in a Subset of Congolese Ebolavirus Infection Survivors

Bramble, M., Hoff, N., Gilchuk, P., et al. (2018). Pan-Filovirus Serum Neutralizing Antibodies in a Subset of Congolese Ebolavirus Infection Survivors. The Journal of Infectious Diseases. 218(12):1929-1936.
The authors assessed fifteen survivors of a Zaire ebolavirus (EBOV) outbreak to determine their immune response against other filoviruses including EBOV, Bundibugyo, Sudan, and Marburg viruses. Five of the survivors had some degree of reactivity to more than one ebolavirus species and three had plasma antibody responses to Marburg.
