Participants will learn about trends in opioid use, dependence, and abuse; related psychosocial and pharmacologic treatment options; and state-specific (Hawai’i) services are available for opioid dependent clients. While specific to one state, the information can be tailored and applied to suit MRC units/volunteers in other states.
