Disease Intervention Training Plan with Outbreak Response

This comprehensive set (approximately 131 hours to complete) of courses are for providers who conduct all aspects of STD/HIV Disease Intervention Services. This training plan provides comprehensive information on the skills and information necessary for staff to provide Disease Intervention (DI) services, technical assistance, capacity building, and outbreak response activities to state, territorial, local, and tribal jurisdictions. Topics include Foundations of Public Health, Communication Skills, Cross Cultural Competence, Partner Services Training Modules, Disease Investigation, Outbreak Readiness and Response, and Professional Development for Public Health Leaders.
