Tularemia – United States 2011-2022

This article describes a 56 percent increase in average annual tularemia incidence in the U.S. during 2011-2022 in comparison to 2001-2010, though the demographic characteristics and geographic distribution of patients was comparable in both time periods. The authors could not determine if the increase was due to an actual increase in infection, improved detection, or both.
