Opportunities for Strengthening and Updating Crisis Standards of Care Frameworks A Rapid Expert Consultation

This webpage describes the work the National Academies are conducting to examine gaps in crisis standards of care (CSC) frameworks and identify opportunities to strengthen their development, implementation, and use. The consultation will use recent examples and lessons learned to explore emerging challenges, evolving threat scenarios, and the legal, ethical, operational, and policy considerations that may shape future CSC guidance.
