Protecting Patients When the Power Goes Out Phase I Report of the Los Angeles County EMS Agency’s Emergency Power Resilience Initiative

This report describes Phase 1 of a joint project between Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services Agency and Powered for Patients. The gap assessment was conducted to evaluate the current process used by critical healthcare facilities to report threats to emergency power during a power outage and the response to such reports by government officials and utilities.
