Asymptomatic Screening for Severe Acute Respiratory Coronavirus 2

The authors describe the challenges associated with asymptomatic screening for SARS-CoV-2 and how they influenced the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) to recommend against routine, universal screening in healthcare facilities. They also identify circumstances under which healthcare facility screening may be beneficial.
