Facilitating the Urgent Public Health Need to Improve Data Sharing with Tribal Epidemiology Centers

The authors provide an overview of the history and significance of Tribal Epidemiology Centers (TECs) and related federal statutes that allow TECs to access and use protected health information for public health purposes.
