The National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) is a nationally representative survey on criminal victimization from about 240,000 persons in about 150,000 households. The NCVS collects information on nonfatal personal and household property crimes both reported and not reported to the police. The survey also includes information on demographics and victimization incidents.
