Children's Environmental Health Post-Disaster Assessment Toolkit 2.0

Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response. (2025). Children's Environmental Health Post-Disaster Assessment Toolkit 2.0. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Emergency management staff can use this toolkit any time after a disaster to help identify and address environmental health risks for children. The strategies and assessment templates can foster responder-community collaboration; encourage clear and consistent communication about children’s environmental health after disasters; highlight gaps in knowledge about protecting children from environmental hazards; and support disaster assessments and tools with a focus on children’s health.
