This article describes the development of a virtual assessment model for at-home evaluation of those suspected to be infected with a viral hemorrhagic fever. This model would allow team members to do assessment and monitoring, specimen collection, provider consultation, patient and family teaching, and pharmaceutical interventions at the suspected case’s home.
