T Cell Immunity to Seasonal Influenza A and H5N1 Viruses in Laboratory Workers Receiving Annual Seasonal Influenza Vaccines.
Frontiers in Immunology. 16: 1718805.
The authors assessed T cell responses in 41 laboratory workers who received annual seasonal influenza vaccine to peptide pools derived from various influenza and SARS-CoV-2 viruses. They found differences in T cell immunity to influenza and SARS-CoV-2 and cross-reactivity among H1, H3, and H5 T cells, though they could not determine if the cross-reactivity provides protection from severe disease.
