Promising Practices to Address Wandering of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities or Dementia

This report summarizes promising practices from the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and its partners specific to meeting the needs of individuals who may wander and their loved ones and communities. While not specific to disaster scenarios, the considerations can be incorporated into training and technical assistance provided to and by law enforcement and other first responders.
