Building a More Inclusive Path to Recovery Sensory Go Bags Debut at the Red Cross House

Building upon a previous American Red Cross project designed to support neurodiverse individuals and families during disaster recovery, this article shares how a high school student used grant money to create five go bags to support individuals with sensory needs during emergencies. These bags are staged across Southeastern Pennsylvania and include noise-canceling headphones, weighted blankets, fidget toys, and other calming materials.
