The authors conducted a comprehensive literature review and designed an Alternate Care Facility (ACF) and diagnostic center to facilitate urgent Ebola care. They found minimal risks associated with new technologies and propose that diagnostic centers in ACFs and transportable formats can potentially optimize Ebola identification and treatment.
